The setup of a new certification company, such as SWISS Certification AG, requires a sufficient and adequate management capacity. This is the case particularly during the starting phase. Many decisions must be taken as fast and competently as possible. This challenge was gladly accepted by seecon gmbh. Our company, acting as deputy managing directors, unburdens the managing director from some of his management activities, in particular financial and administrative tasks and responsibilities. In such a way, the managing director can concentrate more on his actual strengths and duties, i.e., acquisition and business development.
Example: Hausverein Schweiz (Homeowner’s Association)
The Hausverein Schweiz was created at the end of the 80's as a voluntary association of socially and environmentally conscious homeowners. As of today, there are more than 7000 members, organised in seven regional sections: In these sections, home owners can get concrete counselling and mentoring. Matthias Zimmermann from seecon gmbh has been the executive director of the Hausverein Schweiz, a mission that also included restructuring the organization, recruiting a new managing director and leading the association to a stronger growth. At the same time, he was appointed as honorary vice-president of the association. After the new central secretariat of the Hausverein Schweiz opened in Berne, Matthias Zimmermann remained honorary vice-president and also acts as supervisor and senior advisor of the new managing director. The new central secretariat and the executive committee succeeded in achieving a member growth of 7.2% in the year 2008.
