Dorothee Spuhler has studied environmental sciences and engineering (MSc), and this with body and soul. As an environmental engineer, Dorothee Spuhler has a broad knowledge in the field of ecologically sustainable and socially and economically viable technical solutions. Her main interests are reuse-oriented sanitation systems, sustainable sanitation and water management as well as decentralized water and drinking water treatment. Dorothee has contributed to the planning and implementation of such concepts in several projects in Switzerland, Asia or Africa. Thereby she not only gained wide experience in project management and coordination, but also developed a good background for the interdisciplinary and international projects of seecon. The main focus of Dorothee’s work are the development, implementation and dissemination of closed-loop recycling and resources management concepts. In her leisure, you can meet her somewhere outdoors, depending on the season either in the mountains or in any (clean) waters.Fields of activity
